You may not know Mary Blair's name but you know her work. She was the driving force behind many of Walt Disney's famous attractions and films, such as It's A Small World and Alice in Wonderland. We'll explore her work and history working with Walt Disney, including the fact that she knew her worth and left Disney's employ multiple times. Walt personally brought her back each time and I love that.

Alcohol markers are amazing but there is definitely a learning curve to them. In this class you'll learn which paper to use with them. I drew us a Mary Blair coloring sheet to practice with (shown in photo) and then we'll do a mermaid tag inspired by Mary's mermaids in Peter Pan. We'll explore single color and dual color shading on our tag.
